["sora mo erai" I think the "sora mo" is just emphasis.]

While I waited to hear the "return" command, I disguised myself as
an island using earth and sand in place of cement!
[I'm pretty sure this is correct, but I'm not entirely clear on the use of "gipusu".
Despite what dictionaries say, it doesn't appear to be exactly the same as "gypsum".]

[I don't really understand the "shitara shita de" idiom.]

[o-mattou-han = o-mattou-san. The ship is apparently addressing his three passengers
by this name/title. The kanji is the ma of matsu (to wait).]

[I don't understand the connection between these two lines. That may mean that
I'm misinterpreting one (or both) of them.]

If Kurin understands that a Terran can marry into the Shimeru family, perhaps
she won't continue to hold it against me!
[I'm not sure I understand the structure of this sentence or the meaning of
kodawaru in this context.]

boku wa jibun o migaite

kitto futari ga kisotte kureru dake no ningen ni natte miseru
surely two people <s> compete (for me) just human become show

[I'm pretty much guessing here. I haven't been able to find the idiom "ningen
ni natte miseru".]
